I'm Tonya, and I've been a professional photographer in Jacksonville Florida for nearly twenty years.  I've always had a love for creating, documenting, and photography - but I never would have imagined this could be a "job".  I was in the last semester of my accounting degree when I was starting my photography company and decided business school was not for me. Twenty years later I am so grateful for that choice.  I wake up each morning so excited to create something.  My work never feels like a job.  It feels like meeting new friends, getting to know their story, documenting their chapter, and feeling the greatest sense of joy making them happy with the final product. I just love my work so much, and I'm honored to a part of so many lives.

I love to travel this world.  I have a few items on the bucket list that I'm still shooting for.  But seeing this world and all of its beauty is something that lights my soul on fire.  Some of my favorite places and moments are:

Seeing a rainbow over a waterfall in iceland.

Clicking the shutter button in pitch black of midnight to catch the Milky Way over Mt. Rainier.

Backpacking Italy alone.

Swimming with the whale sharks in Mexico.

Diving in Roatan (The prettiest dives I've ever done)

Hiking the Dolomites

Hiking the Alps

Taking an iconic train ride in Switzerland.

Hiking in the woods anywhere near Road to Hana.

Hiking Angle's Landing.

I still have so much I want to see and do.

I'm genuinely excited to wake up each day and have the opportunity to be creative in telling stories for the amazing people I get to meet.
